The Travis County Recovery Alliance (TCRA) unites neighbors, faith groups, and local partners to restore hope, rebuild homes, and strengthen community resilience. Born from disaster, we bring people together to meet unmet needs, provide emotional and spiritual support, and rebuild lives—turning recovery into renewal across Travis County.
The Travis County Recovery Alliance (TCRA) was formed in the aftermath of the July 5, 2025, floods that devastated the Sandy Creek, Round Mountain, and Liberty Hill areas of northwest Travis County. What began as a grassroots effort by residents, volunteers, and local organizations quickly grew into a coordinated alliance of faith-based groups, nonprofits, and county partners, including the Central Texas Community Foundation, Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN), and Travis County OEM.
TCRA emerged to ensure survivors were not left behind once the initial response ended. Through collaboration, transparency, and compassion, the Alliance now leads long-term recovery efforts—addressing unmet needs, coordinating rebuilds, supporting mental health and emotional care, and fostering a sense of unity and purpose that carries beyond the disaster.
